Dr. Benjamin Martin – PT, DPT, BSME, OCS
Ben graduated with honors from Oklahoma Christian University in 2004, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. He then served six years of active duty service, as an officer in the U.S. Navy, before electing to leave the military, honorably discharged. Following his military service, Ben wanted a career with a more direct and positive impact on peoples’ lives. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2013 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Since then he has acquired multiple manual therapy and treatment certifications; most importantly becoming a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and being American Institute of Balance Certified in Vestibular Assessment, Management, and Rehabilitation. Ben’s approach to physical therapy reflects his love for mechanical function, problem solving, and people. Ben specializes in spinal dysfunction, complex dysfunctions, orthopedic/sports rehabilitation, and vestibular rehabilitation. He truly considers his work to be his calling. Ben lives in his hometown of Choctaw, OK, where he opened Oklahoma Physical Therapy – Choctaw. He married the love of his life, Crystal, in 2004. They have two beautiful daughters, Caitlin and Cassidy.
